How can I help you?

Services & Prices:
Initial assessment – £30

The initial assessment is the essential first step where I gather crucial information about your dog, such as breed, age, history, previous training, etc…

I will also better understand your specific goals and expectations, your previous training approaches (if any), your availability, etc…

This session takes about 1 hour and the information gathered will allow me to build an accurate picture of your unique situation and develop a customised training plan. You’ll also receive immediate feedback and practical tips to give you a clear sense of my training style.

Basic obedience – £30 per session

Teaching the basic dog training commands, such as sit, down, come, stay and also helping to implement the desired general attitudes of the dog.

This can be done at any age, from puppy to adult, although if possible, it’s always better to start young.

Depending on the age and experience of the dog, the duration of the session will be different. For example, with young puppies, it is better to keep the session very short – 15 minutes in the beginning can be enough. In which case, I would suggest a package of classes.

Advanced obedience – £30 per session

Here we add more complexities into the basic command structures as well as implementing non-verbal communication.

These advanced techniques build upon the foundation of basic obedience, refining what has already been learnt whilst increasing complexity, time and distance.

This training is suitable for dogs who have mastered their basic commands and are ready for more challenging work.

We can adapt the sessions to focus on specific goals you have for your dog, whether that’s for everyday situations or more specialised activities.

Behaviour Modification – £30 per session

With these sessions we aim to fix any problematic behaviours that affect your dog’s quality of life such as fear, anxiety, reactivity, aggression and everything in between.

I’ll help identify the root causes of unwanted behaviours and develop a structured approach to modify them.

The process begins with a thorough assessment of your dog’s triggers and responses, followed by a customised behaviour modification plan. We’ll work together to implement management strategies, counter-conditioning techniques, and alternative behaviours that address the specific challenges you’re facing

Behaviour modification does require patience and consistency, but even longstanding issues can improve with the right approach. Sessions may be longer or more frequent depending on the severity of the issue.

Note: Cases involving severe aggression or bite history may require additional assessment and will be priced accordingly.

Scent Work – £30 per session

Teaching handlers and dogs how to methodically search for items or people using their powerful sense of smell.

This engaging activity taps into your dog’s natural scenting abilities to create a rewarding and mentally stimulating experience for both of you. Through progressive training, your dog will learn to identify and locate specific scents in various environments.

The training begins with simple searches and gradually increases in difficulty as your dog’s skills develop. You’ll learn how to read your dog’s body language when they detect scent and how to work as a team to successfully complete search scenarios.

This activity is suitable for all breeds and can be adapted to any ability level. No previous training experience is necessary – just a curious dog and a willing handler!

Security Dog Training

Tailored training for dogs and handlers working in the security industry. Bite, detection, public order and scent work.

Training encompasses multiple disciplines including controlled protective responses, detection capabilities, crowd management behaviours, and systematic search protocols.

This advanced training is only available to professional security personnel with proper credentials and following a thorough assessment. Programs require dedication, consistency, and progressive skill development from both handler and dog.

Protection dog training

Training programs for people who want to have a canine companion that is truly capable of protecting you and your family without hesitation.

We’ll help develop your dog’s natural protective instincts into reliable, controlled responses that can be activated when needed. Unlike basic intimidation behaviours, true protection training creates a dog that can discern actual threats and respond appropriately while remaining a safe and stable family companion.

We begin with a thorough temperament assessment to determine your dog’s suitability, as not all dogs have the proper balance of traits needed for this work. For qualified dogs, we’ll proceed to build a foundation of impeccable obedience before introducing specialised protection exercises.

These programs are tailored to your specific needs and progress through stages including alert behaviours, controlled defensive responses, and, when appropriate, physical intervention. Throughout the process, emphasis remains on complete handler control and the dog’s ability to transition smoothly between protection work and normal family life.

This advanced training requires serious commitment and is only available following a comprehensive consultation and temperament evaluation.
